Welcoming little Jenson into the world through my lens was a delightful experience that perfectly encapsulates the unpredictable yet heartwarming nature of newborn sessions. Ashlynn, Jenson's mom, reached out just two days before, expressing her desire for a session for her 4-week-old daughter. Serendipitously, a rescheduling request from another client opened up the perfect time slot on a Friday afternoon.
As Jenson arrived, wide awake and curious, the adventure began. Despite Ashlynn's concerns about the age of her baby, having recently worked with a 6-week-old, I assured her that capturing the essence of Jenson's precious moments would be a breeze.
Our session kicked off with a diaper change, we managed to quick sets in the gorgeous orange, a quick diaper change and back to work we went
Ashlynn had initially envisioned a palette of creamy and pale pink tones, but upon seeing a vibrant burnt orange displayed in the studio, she couldn't resist incorporating it into the session. This spontaneity added a unique touch to the photos, reflecting the genuine spirit of the moment.
In just under two hours, we navigated through seven different sets, capturing the pure essence of Jenson's early days. The session beginning with heartwarming photos of mother and daughter, creating timeless memories that will be cherished for a lifetime. Ending with precious images of wide eyed Jenson enjoying her time.
