Vera
OK, this family is meant to be in front of the camera. However, Vera was team no sleep.
Vera's Dad, Pat, had to go back to work earlier than expected - so we split this session up into two days.
The entire family visited me on a Sunday. At this time, I do not offer full newborn sessions on the weekends as I am spending the time with my family. Luckily enough, most parents have a couple of weeks off, and I hold newborn sessions within 5-14 days, so weekday sessions are not usually an issue.
However, we all know every family is different. I absolutely was not ready for their family session to end. As you can see from the photos below. They entered my home studio on their A-game.
Vera's Solo Session
Vera came back with her mom a few days later and we wrapped up her session. My assistant, Alexis, tagged along during this session - and I am SO glad she did. Vera was over the whole "let's take a nap" thing. Shots with her eyes closed were captured with careful planning and very quickly. However, have you seen those photos with her eyes open? Freakin' precious!
